The ‘H’ Sale:
A Sale of Artwork & Artist-made Wares All Priced Under $100
Proceeds support local artists and Root Division’s Youth Education Program
ONE NIGHT ONLY! Saturday, December 11th, 4-8 pm
SAN FRANCISCO, CA – This is not your mother’s holiday sale, although she might really like it. Some of the Bay Areas’ finest local artisans and emerging artists are coming together for a one night only sale. Items for sale include unique illustrations, paintings, photographs & prints, handmade jewelry, fair-trade clothing, encaustic collage, knit-ware, silkscreen panels, handbags, body products, and much more.
And here’s the best part: no one item will be over $100, including sales tax. We’re taking the heartache out of holiday gift giving. After all, H also stands for handiwork, homegrown, harmless, heroics, hyenas, and habeas corpus, all great reasons to celebrate. So come by, grab a cheap cocktail, listen to some beats, and be inspired to buy yourself something! And, if you really want to, we’ll let you take care of everyone else on that list too.

ABOUT ROOT DIVISION:
Root Division's mission is to improve appreciation and access to the visual arts by connecting personal inspiration and community participation. We provide subsidized studio space to working artists in exchange for their service in creating shared learning opportunities for the community. Artists develop creatively and professionally by teaching art to underserved youth, leading adult education classes, and producing exhibitions that showcase local emerging artwork. By combining multiple opportunities for creative exchange, Root Division cultivates an artistic ecosystem that enriches life throughout the Bay Area.
Root Division is supported in part by grants from Grants for the Arts: SF Hotel Tax Fund, The San Francisco Foundation, and the Walter & Elise Haas Fund. The Second Saturday Exhibition Series is sponsored by the Phyllis C. Wattis Foundation, the San Francisco Arts Commission through a Cultural Equity Grant/Organizational Project Grant, and the Zellerbach Family Foundation.
