Take a tour of some amazing mushrooms of the Bay Area and learn how to grow edible mushrooms at home.
Hand's-on: bring extra newspaper, cardboard, sawdust, wax, cordless drills, drill bits, and leave with some mushrooms of your own!
Teacher Theresa Halula will set you off to a good start with oyster and shiitake. Space is limited, must pre-register.
Cost: $30 general, $25 EC members. Pre-registration required. Limited work trade available.
