A conversation with Joel Beinin (Professor of Middle East History, Stanford Univ.)

Joel Beinin has just returned from a seven-week trip to Israel and Palestine where he was doing research for a forthcoming book on Palestinian popular resistance and joint Palestinian-Israeli-international political struggle. What he found was a whole new generation of human rights activists - Israeli, Palestinian, and internationals - developing new strategies to confront the injustices of the occupation.
