Please come help BAY-Peace "warm" our new office!
Join us for food and beverages and a chance to see what we're up to this year as we empower Oakland youth to fight for better alternatives to militarism. At 7 pm we will see slides & video and hear stories about the 21st Pastors for Peace Friendshipment Caravan to Cuba—Challenging the US blockade of Cuba by delivering over 100 tons of humanitarian aid to Cuba.
5 - 7 pm Open House at the new BAY-Peace office
7 - 8 pm Cuba Report Back with Yesenia Molina, Watsonville Brown Berets & Susan Bassein, Full Picture Truth in Recruiting
8 - 8:30 film about the International Pastors for Peace Caravan to Cuba: "Who's Afraid of a Little Yellow School Bus?"
This event is free and wheelchair accessible. Donations will be requested to support BAY-Peace youth to participate in the Friendshipment Caravan to Cuba in the summer of 2011.
