The seven finalists for the MCF "Representative of the Poor and Needy" Trustee seat has been announced: Rosa Amato of Novato, Stanley Bloom of Novato, Everett Brandon of Marin City, Susan Mace of San Rafael, Rob Simon of San Rafael, Lois Moore of Novato and Barbara Clifton Zarate of Novato!
Once selected, the Representative Poor and Needy Trustee will help administer the Foundation's decisions around the $1.2 billion Buck Trust that Beryl Buck indicated should benefit low-income and other underserved communities in Marin, as well as be charged with other important duties and responsibilities as part of the Foundations Board of Trustees.
Come meet the final group of candidates with us during a community-wide forum next Thursday, September 30th from 6:30pm to 8:00pm at Whistlestop in San Rafael. Early reception begins at 6:00pm. Seating is limited, so register today!
