A Progressive/Left Oakland Mayoral Forum
Candidates for Mayor of Oakland will face the progressive community in a forum co-sponsored by a group of social justice organizations. Wilson Riles, Jr., a former member of the City Council, who has run for Mayor himself, will moderate the forum. Audience participation included.
Co-sponsors: Alameda County Green Party; Alameda County Peace & Freedom Party; Bay Area Solidarity; Democratic Socialists of America - East Bay Local; Fellowship of Humanity; Media Alliance; Niebyl Proctor Marxist Library; Northern California Committees of Correspondence for Democracy & Socialism; Oakland ACCE (Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment); Oakland CAN (Community Action Network); Oakland Tenant Union; PUEBLO (People United for a Better Oakland); Upsurge!
Donation requested (nobody turned away)
