We now have 70-year-old hoarse millionaire Democrat Jerry Brown on the radio promoting austerity instead of prosperity by taxing the rich, those who make over $200,000 a year, in a state with more than enough millionaires and billionaires who could make up the deficit. This same Jerry Brown, as attorney general, plans to murder a human being on September 29 with the barbaric death penalty, banned in 88% of the world including all of Europe, most of Latin America including Mexico and Venezuela, South Africa, Ivory Coast and others. He could get the sentence commuted to life or simply have the barbaric death penalty declared unconstitutional and let all the victims sitting on death row have a retrial. His professed opposition to the death penalty does not coincide with reality; actions speak louder than words. The Democrat-Republican parties both support the death penalty and both Brown and Whitman oppose Prop 19, legalizing marijuana because they both support the prison-industrial complex. You will get the same grief from Democrat Jerry Brown. You will get an improvement in the state budget process by voting for Proposition 25 to overturn the 2/3 rule to pass budgets so that we only need a majority, as exists in all other states.
If you oppose the death penalty, support Prop 19, want to increase the taxes on the rich with the progressive income tax to save our schools and social services, vote Peace & Freedom Carlos Alvarez or Green Laura Wells for governor. See:
