First of the fall Black Panther Party Ten-Point Program Film Series. The film, Salud! is about how Cuba has overcome its lack of resources to provide universal (single payer) health care and provides training to 51 other developing countries to do the same through ELAM- Escuela Lationoamericana de Medicine in Havana, Cuba. Cuba offers FREE scholarships to people from the US and around the world to attend their medical school 5 yr. program; information packets available at this event. BPP Melvin Dickson was in Cuba last month and interviewed Virginia Diaz Conzales, co-director of ELAM in Havana. He will give a short talk and answer questions. 510-652-7170
