Last year we shut down campus and made headlines. This year, can we organize protests that open up campus and change business-as-usual?

By the end of this hands-on training you'll be able to plan and organize small actions and coordinate with others to plan larger actions in time for October 7. We will cover communication, legal info, consensus, jail support, media, recent direct actions and more. We will also focus on radical care and support as necessary parts of direct action organizing.

Join Before the Fall - an affinity group formed last year after the Wheeler Hall takeover - and local organizers Clare Bayard, who organized with Direct Action to Stop the War to shut down San Francisco’s financial district in 2003 and Ralowe T. Ampu, who works with Gay Shame (gayshamesf.org), a radical queer direct action group in SF.
