Medi-Cal, Medi-Cal programs, Healthy Families, Cal-Works, Drug Medi-Cal, the Every Woman Counts program etc. Virtually every health and human service for poor people is on the proposed budget cut list. We have an oppurtunity to participate in our own struggle and fight these criminal cuts. We also need to build this protest to make a meaningful impact at the Capitol. This may be our last oppurtunity to protest before the so-called deficit is resolved on the backs of poor people.
Thank you to the organizers for calling this Sept 15 budget protest. Now everyone get on the bus.
We are 100% volunteer and depend on your participation to sustain our efforts!
