Oakland Food Policy Council Community Dialogue

People United for a Better Life in Oakland (PUEBLO) and the Oakland Food Policy Council (OFPC) have recently joined forces to create a series of community listening sessions. These sessions are an effort to find out what community members think needs to happen to improve Oakland's food system. Our food system includes everything involved with growing, producing, manufacturing, shipping, marketing, buying, and eating food, plus composting or throwing away food scraps. The upcoming listening session will be hosted by the East Oakland Boxing Association on Thursday, August 12th from 5:00-7:00pm. Dinner will be served at the session. Childcare will be provided in addition to Spanish interpretation as needed.
