Report Back from Arizona Freedom Summer!
Rafael Kadaris who spent over a month in Phoenix as a volunteer with "Arizona Freedom Summer" will be reporting back from the front lines of the fight to stop the system's fascist attacks on immigrants,and in particular SB1070 which went into effect on July 29th.
He will give an on-the-ground picture of what it is like to be an immigrant in Arizona -- driven from your home country by forces beyond your control, risking your life to get to the U.S. just to find a job in order to survive, then terrorized by vicious police and racist vigilantes when you get here -- and he will report on the growing resistance to all this, especially the movement for revolution which has been in the middle of this battle with the message, "We don't have an immigration problem...We have a capitalism problem."
