What about everything else such as the Wifi internet home networks that everyone has, people who constantly put chemicals on their lawn and give the neighbor hood dogs cancer, people who put toxic batteries and lightbulbs in the waste stream (or the toxic nature of a lot of plastic in everything). It's sort of disproportionate that you get animated over the wireless signal of the meters.

Seriously this is an embarrassment to Scott's Valley. People are afraid of the "dangers" of radio signals? I am sure they all own cell phones and are posting in indybay through wifi connections to the internet. How absurd. Fear of the unknown leads to lunacy.

We are well aware of the dangers of all sources of 'electrosmog' You can choose not to own a cell phone, you can choose not to have wifi in your house (as we have done). You cannot choose not to have a smart meter on your house, according to PG&E. The smart meter program will add a powerful new level of EMF radiation into our communities, and fighting these meters is also a good way to educate people about the danger of cell phones, cordless and wifi etc. Look into the science- these are very real cellular changes that are happening in response to cell phone radiation.

And no I am not writing this on a wifi connection.......

You people do realize that even if you don't have a cell phone, the cellular towers are still sending signals all around. Radio stations too - they're sending signals at several thousand watts. No extra tumors from that, right? Plus, all of these claims that many studies have shown an increase in tumors is just simply not true. Plus these meters don't emit 500x the radiation of a cellphone. I'm honestly shocked at the ignorance shown in this video.

Do you people realize that the sun emits the SAME kind of radiation, at levels way higher than anything sent by a wireless radio, and it's not causing problems for people?

I can't believe you seriously are saying this. It's not like a "sun" is being installed in the neighborhood. How bout you actually learn some physics before making idiotic remarks like that. Nothing but fear, uncertainty, and doubt with you people.
