The Watershed Project is hosting the 26th annual California Coastal Cleanup, the state’s largest shoreline cleanup project, taking place at more than 20 locations throughout the country on Saturday, September 25, from 9am to noon. Free snacks are provided and raffle prizes will be given away. Great numbers of volunteers are wanted to remove massive amount of debris accumulated on our beaches and inland shorelines for the past year. Bring families and neighbors. Protect marine life and habitat through the cleanup. This year we promote “BYO” (Bring Your Own) concept to minimize debris from the cleanup itself by bringing own reusable items: plastic baskets, bags, gloves and water bottles.
