The event is a celebration of life against violence. There will be a parade at 10 am-Noon in celebration of the life and 25th Birthday of Elliott Jemar Noble who was first assaulted by the Oakland Police department in 2003 and was subsequently murdered on the way to Tookie Williams rally in Richmond November 2005. The parade will convene at the corner of Eldridge and Darien off of 98th Avenue in Oakland. There will be a basketball tournament in which people can come and play in the names of slain and incarcerated loved ones 1-3pm Registration for the tournament is 11 am-12:30 pm. We will have a speakout and rally after the march up Edes to the recreation center.

There is also a fundraiser gospel concert from 6pm-9pm to raise funds for the non-profit organization the Elliott J. Noble Multiservice Family Organization. The non-profit will serve underserved families who have been affected by all sorts of violence including but not limited to homicide, domestic and social violence. The goal is to follow up with families for a year after their loved ones have been brutalized or murdered. Local Bay Area artist Lawrence Keith Matthews will headline at the concert with other local dance, mime and spoken word by Timothy "AYATI" Reaves and more....Tickets for the concert are only $5 for youth 25 and under and 10 general. ID must be presented for those 25 and under to get the discount price. We are calling for vendors who want to sell at the event. Vendors must have their own tables. Prices $25 for Jewefy/crafts and Food and Clothing Vendrs are $50-75 for the day. Please contact the email or telephone number to reserve and both and for tickets.
