Muni Drivers Fight to "Save Our Ride!"
TWU-250a Nationwide Campaign to Save MUNI!

The Transit Workers Union-250a along with it's National TWU representatives have lobbied and rigorously advocated for funding from the Federal government that puts stimulus "capital-project" money into local operation budgets (i.e. instead of having millions go into paying projects that benefit large corporate contractors, the money is used to maintain and enhance the existing systems).

Your own MUNI Drivers union, Local TWU-250a, has made numerous trips to Sacramento and Washington and are part of the national campaign to "Save Our Ride."

The TWU-250a has taken the high road and united with riders, drivers, community activists and other unions in order to advocate for MORE public transit funding.
