On May 29th, hundreds of thousands of immigrants and their allies across the country took to the streets to protest Arizona's new racist law SB1070, the new "secure communities" program or S-COM, and all the laws that criminalize and harass our communities.

In Arizona, over 100,000 people, including dozens of representatives from the Bay Area, marched through Phoenix, making this march one of the largest in Arizona's history. NOW is a historic moment and opportunity for the unity of the Immigrant Movement and the defense of our Communities!

The "Freedom Bus Coalition" invites you to a Urgent Town Hall Meeting to discuss and share your ideas on the political situation in the matter of immigration and the urgent need to unify efforts to respond to the situation of emergency in which we live. The attacks are more and more brutal. The crimes of hatred in the border increase. The unity of the movement is imperative.

This event is being organized by a group of diverse organizations and individuals of that rode together on the "Freedom Bus" to attend the May 29th march in Phoenix, AZ, that is tentatively being called the Freedom Bus Coalition. Others who marched in Phoenix or are working in solidarity with those opposed to SB 1070 and S-COM are encouraged to attend and share their experiences as well!

We expect to count with your support. We will provide Child Care, Translation Spanish-English-Spanish and Food!
