Beehive Market is a weekly, localist, sustainable lifestyle market in West Berkeley at the Adult School that features organic farm grown produce, an epicurean organic food court, and sustainable products from local companies including alternative transportation, childrens' and pet products, apparel, personal care, and garden products.
Vendors will include Frog Hollow Farm, Bake Sale Betty, City Car Share, O Chame, Mind Your Tongue, Langier Farms, A1 Sun, Kinesys, Grateful Body, Embodies Eco Fashion, and McEvoy/Sapothecary.
Indie Bands will play every week beginning with Jahlectrik (Emo Reggae,) on opening day, B-Players (Hillbilly Swing) on June 19th and Victoria avec Zweng (Post Modern Cabaret) on the 26th of June.
Environmental leaders will speak regularly at the Market beginning with Arlene Blum, famed mountain climber and indoor pollution expert, in late June.
