Location Details:

Sutter Health's transfer of millions of dollars in profits from Marin General Hospital will be the focus of a community meeting hosted by Assemblyman Jared Huffman and state Sen. Mark Leno from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 13.
Sutter has agreed to end its lease of Marin General Hospital five years early and return control of the hospital to the Marin Healthcare District in July.

Huffman, D-San Rafael, has questioned whether the hospital corporation's board, which is overseen by Sutter, has fulfilled its fiduciary responsibility while acquiescing to Sutter Health's removal of $120 million in profits from Marin General since 1995.

The public meeting will be at the Marin County Veterans Memorial Showcase Theater at 10 Avenue of the Flags in San Rafael.
