Support May Day Arrestees (Weds.) at 9 a.m. at 850 Bryant

Date:
Wednesday, May 05, 2010
Time:
9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Event Type:
Court Date
Organizer/Author:
Kim Rohrbach
Location Details:
850 Bryant St., San Francisco

Tomorrow, Weds. May 5, at 850 Bryant St., San Francisco, at 9 a.m., three individuals arrested during the May Day march and rally will be arraigned. Your support at the arraignment is needed!

One of these individuals was arrested during the march; two others were hauled in while demonstrating against against a white supremacist group. All face BOGUS charges (including multiple felonies levied against at least two individuals).

Of the three, one is a long-time activist who has been repeatedly hauled into jail for no good reason and booked on spurious charges; and has also had his life interfered with in a major way by being required to make multiple court appearances over a protracted period of time to defend himself --- when he should never have been put in that position in the first place.

One of those arrested during the Immigrant's rights march was released early this morning. His name is Victor and he is a student at San Francisco State University. His charges were dropped presumably due to the fact that he was arrested for not having done anything.
by funds needed for bail
The two people arrested after the BANA altercation on mayday, Kelsey and Dee, were arraigned this morning. Their bail was reduced from $200,000 each to $75,000 each. We are in need of funds to help us post bond. A paypal will be set up shortly. Thank you.
We are 100% volunteer and depend on your participation to sustain our efforts!
