Communities of Opportunity in the Bayview Hunters Point cannot account for $45 million.

Some years ago I wrote an article about Communities of Opportunity - my opening line: " No good will ever come from Dwayne Jones".

Dwayne Jones once was a Director on the Private Industry Council (PIC). He was also the Director of Young Communities Developers (YCD). He had no qualms of conscience to funnel millions of dollars - from grants that PIC had access to his own organization - of which is no longer director - YCD.

Dwayne Jones encouraged by Mayor Gavin Newsom encouraged Dwayne Jones who was given the title of Director of Community Development ( now defunct ) and the Mayor created a special position for this City Pimp - to screw innocent people over - but more defraud donors of millions of dollars.

Communities of Opportunity (COO) is just another one of those entities that fleece some - take millions in - pretend to help the needy - but, really pocket the money. This has been going on for the last 4 years plus.

Money meant to help seven neighborhoods - have been wasted by Dwayne Jones and some of the thousands of dollars was used by Mayor Gavin Newsom - to hold conferences - where the tab run into the thousands. The money had nothing to do with Community Improvement or any neighborhood.

To date there has been no accounting of the $45 million plus - and no one has the balls to take these crooks to task. COO is a joke and we have people who know about this but do not have the guts to do anything.

Blue cloth signs were put up with the words " Communities of Opportunity " once these cloth signs were clean and fresh. Today, they are tattered and torn - reflecting the sad state of affairs. Why is it that only in the Bayview Hunters Point do we get crooks that steal money and treated human being like dirt?

Right now Lennar is on the verge of jumping ship. Plans were discussed to help the people of Alice Griffith. Dwayne Jones barged a prefab building - that is now called the Empowering Center - right at the edge of Alice Griffith Public Housing. It is in this building that he lies to people and makes - promises. There is no one that can take him on - people think he has power - when all he is - is a PIMP.

If you enter the homes where the folks live in Alice Griffith - you will see broken plumbing, toilets that do not work, kitchens that are a mess, windows and doors that need repairs. Some of the conditions are worse then any third world country. Sewage running on the edge of the Public Housing bordering Carol Street and there is more.

These are all Health and Safety concerns - but, Mayor Gavin Newsom does not give a hoot. Dwayne Jones on the other had will promise the poor folks - brand new units that will be delivered by Lennar. Lennar is rogue developer that is sinking - no one want to believe Lennar. Not after what Lennar did to Mare Island. After ten years had nothing to show - promising to build 10,000 units. Lennar declared bankruptcy and so did the City of Vallejo that backed on Lennar's promise. The same will happen to Alice Griffith - it has already happen at Hunters Point Shipyard.

The money, some $45 million was donated so that poor folks could be helped. But, what has happened is disgusting. Some Black folks and that includes Dwayne Jones have disgraced all of humanity with their actions. How can these folks sleep at night? They take money that is meant to help the poor and use it themselves and on things and projects that have nothing to do with what the money was meant for.

What a smart, devilish idea for the City and County of San Francisco that has a budget of over $6.8 billion, yes BILLION - to create a non-profit named COO and WOO all the poor and screw them over! Our San Francisco Board of Supervisors have no clout - they know about Dwayne Jones and they know about the scam. Only Supervisor Chris Daly once tried to investigate this nonsense but someone - intimidated him and he remains silent to this day.

Dwayne Jones is the leader of the Poverty Pimps and he has a charm - he will tell you one thing and do another. He will ask you to put your ideas in writing - promise to help you - and then turn around and screw you so bad that you wished you never met this disgusting person. He has stolen ideas and written project and will not blink an eye in shame.

Recently, Dwayne Jones bused folks to San Francisco City Hall to the SF Redevelopment Meeting - discussing about Lennar and the Hunters Point Shipyard. He fed these mostly indigent folks with cold pizzas. He had the folks say stuff like " we want jobs" - " I support Lennar" - " we want to homes" and so on - before the SF Redevelopment Commission. The folks are poor and for a few dollars will do anything - and this is what Dwayne Jones has done to the people that have put their fate in him.

Well, Lennar is jumping ship and soon Sophie Maxwell - another sell out will be out of office.

It is just a matter of time before Mayor Gavin Newsom chooses to leave City Hall. Before all this happens - Dwayne Jones will disappear.

Rhonda Simmons another person that has fooled so many people will disappear. These folks are pathetic and was is very surprising is that no one can touch these folks - because they are protected by the machine.

Well, not anymore - we have provided detailed information to Law Enforcement - and soon the world will learn all they want to learn about these crooks.

Not long ago someone from COO sent me an email - asking me to please remove an article that I had written about Communities of Opportunity. There is no way I will be intimidated by some idiot that is fed stale bread crumbs by Dwayne Jones and does not know what she is talking about. No way.

Recently, I got a call from someone that worked for Dwayne Jones - he called me to say that he was fired by Dwayne Jones and wanted to work for me. I said: " no way " - you worked for the devil himself and now you want to work or volunteer for me? ".

It is so sad that the Blacks in the Bayview Hunters Point - not all but many have chosen to work for the devil himself.

The demographics of the Bayview are changing dramatically. Today Asians make up over 35% of the Bayview Hunters Point. Hispanics 28% and growing. Blacks make up only 18% and by the end of they year it will be 15%. Within two years and you heard it here first - it will be less then 10%.

Communities of Opportunity will disappear once Mayor Gavin Newsom is out of office.

Alice Griffith will NOT get anything from Lennar. Another company may try to salvage the project - but those that sided with LENNAR a Rogue Developer will get nothing.

Dwayne Jones must be investigated and so should those City Departments that have ties with Dwayne Jones.
