Vigil for Huan Chen -
Due to the rash of violent acts in the Bayview District along the T-line targeting Asian Americans, we are inviting folks to join as a community to stop the violence and start the healing. This peaceful event is open to everyone.
Bayview police department has offered full support. We also have additional security from the community to help us.(Look for Yellow Arm bands) . We want everyone to be safe so if you are coming, please come as a group. Community leaders from the Bayview will be there and they are just as upset about these senseless violence in their neighborhood.
Come and Promote Peace and Raise awareness!
Please bring a white candle and a cup to the event.
Parking will be available on Oakdale, between 3rd and Lane. Officers will be available to direct you.
