T4CW 3.29.10: Marching for the Future of our Schools
The teachers interviewed Students and Teachers Marching up the Central Valley to Sacramento, making their voices heard to protect funding for education in California, whether Elementary, University, or somewhere in between. We spoke with Jenn, Manny, Clay, Naomi, & Jose about why they're marching. 25 minutes/MP3 format.
Listen now:
The marchers spoke up about the impacts of the cuts on their own communities and families, as well as their own education. They talked about tax structures and politics that put students last, and emphasized that the money is there, but the will is lacking.
