Street Sounds Indie Filmmaking Competition

View the world a little differently? Now is your chance to show top film and television executives exactly how you see it by entering a short film competition brought to you by The Smalls and Scion.


Independent filmmakers from all over are invited to create a short film inspired by sounds they discover inside the The Smalls Street Sounds interactive Sound Map, an online database of user-generated sounds. The films should interpret one of four themes (The Street, America, State of Mind and The Unexpected) and run no longer than three minutes. Can a short film be created using the sounds of gargling, ordering a beer and the frustration of stepping on a scale? Somebody is bound to try!
