Meet JR Valrey, reporter for the SF Bay View. JR recently returned from Haiti and brings to us a 15 minute video about what he saw there: no one receiving help of any kind! Come meet this brave warrior of truth. JR is returning to Haiti with small medical supplies/medicin. Bring supplies and donate if you can.
A speaker from the Haiti Action Committee will also be present to share a recent trip to Haiti.
$2.00 Carribean Sundaes with choice of chocolate, coconut and/or nuts. 100% goes to the children of Haiti.
JR Valrey has been a reporter for the SF Bayview newspaper and does the BLOC report on KPFA. He was falsly accused last year of starting a fire at the Oscar Grant riot. After a year of bogus court dates, all charges were dropped Feb. 22nd.
