The 6th Edition of the SF Women’s Film Festival Continues Celebrating Local and International Acclaimed Women Works in all Areas of Film
WHAT: The Women’s Film Institute presents the 6th Annual San Francisco Women’s Film Festival (SFWFF), a comprehensive celebration of a diverse selection of women filmmakers and films, from April 7 through April 11 in selected locations across the Bay Area. The festival kicks off at the Roxie Theater with a tribute to Judith Helfand, renowned film maker, activist and educator. A 94-minute reel showing her notable documentary 'Healthy Baby Girl', excerpts from 'Blue Vinyl' and short film 'Ek Velt' will be presented. In addition to the special events, the festival’s film programs will showcase a diverse variety of local and international short and feature premieres throughout the five days.
