Spend your lunch hour with CodePINK today as we express our deep disappointment and outrage at this tragedy of 1000 more U.S. lives destroyed, and this travesty of electing a president to lead us OUT of war when instead US deaths have drastically increased with more than 1/3 of these deaths occurring AFTER President Obama took office!

We've been warned by the military to expect 500 US soldier deaths per MONTH by this summer. Afghan civilian deaths will be hundreds of times higher.

Join us so we can mightily say WE WILL NOT stand for a repeat of Iraq – almost 5000 U.S. soldiers dead, over 1.5 MILLION Iraqis dead, millions more displaced and devastated, trillions of our dollars gone into the pockets of war profiteers – but this time at the direction of Obama.

Come to the MRS (Marine Recruiting Station)* this Wednesday 2/24, tomorrow, at noon. Wear in white; bring bloodied bandages. Come with coffins and photos of the dead. Be there for mourning. Come with your words and thoughts, banners and signs. Be there for shouting NO MORE WAR! Or just BE THERE.

*The MRS is on Shattuck Ave just south of University Ave (on the side of Shattuck that runs one way and north; and 2 blocks north of the downtown Berkeley BART).
