Monthly meeting of Senior Activists. CARA (California Alliance for Retired Americans) is a coalition of over 170 organizations with a state membership of over 850,000. We don't sell anything but we advocate for seniors, their families and their communities. We are pro-active & will be having are 7 annual convention this year. Membership consists of different organizations including church, seniors, housing groups, political, labor, arts i.e. and many join as individuals. We are designed to run as a grassroots organization. All are welcomed to are monthly meetings for information on what's happening locally, statewide and nationally.
