Gerald Sanders remains a solid radical activist today . He was elected to the KPFA Local Board running as part of the Peoples Radio caucas ,
He was a founding member of the organization Cop Watch .
He has also been active in trying to build a electoral alternative to the Republicans and Democrats via Peace and Freedom Party ,
He himself ran for the Oakland School Board as a Independent Labor candidate and almost won (47 % of the vote )
He is one of our ''Elders'' that has a lot to teach this new generation of activists .
