BACORR, Revolution Books, CodePink, World Can't Wait, the Raging Grannies and other groups came out to support women's rights and sing: C-B-S = Corporate B.S.!
At issue is the advocacy ad that the network will air during the Super Bowl on February 7. Right wing organization Focus on the Family has paid for an anti-abortion rights commercial. It is the first advocacy advertisement that CBS has ever run; they have refused to run ads from left-leaning organizations in the past and, according to the Feminist Majority Foundation, even now refuse to run an ad for gay rights.
