The Marin Task Force on Housing Discrimination and Fair Housing of Marin will recognize King and the civil rights movement beginning Thursday evening in Marin City with an exhibit of photographs by housing advocate Bernie Kleina capturing the struggle to end racial and ethnic segregation and the open housing marches in Chicago during the mid-1960s.
The exhibition will also be open from 2 to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday through Jan. 29. After that, it will move to the Novato Unified School District office at 1015 Seventh St. in Novato, where it will be exhibited Feb. 2-14.
