JANUARY 15 – 31, 2010 in SAN FRANCISCO
Keith Hennessy announces details of his 2009 - 2010 season, which continues through January 31, 2010. Keith Hennessy’s A Queer 20th Anniversary will be a retrospective of two seminal pieces performed by Keith Hennessy & company including HOW TO DIE (2005 - 06) — A performance by Keith Hennessy with Jules Beckman & Seth Eisen at Dance Mission Theatre (1/15 - 17/10). A highlight of the season will be the West Coast Premiere of CROTCH (all the Joseph Beuys references in the world…)(2008) — A performance by
Keith Hennessy at Dance Mission (1/29 - 31/10). CROTCH had its US premiere at NY’s Dance Theater Workshop in April 2009, garnering much acclaim by NY critics: “an outré, charged solo” - NY Times.

Keith Hennessy’s A Queer 20th Anniversary celebrates the 20th anniversary of Hennessy’s coming out
solo performance SALIVA, with a full season of events including performances, publications, and a queer performance marathon. The performances — one premiere and two restaged works - will be complimented by both teaching and archive projects.
