Monday January 11, 12 – 3 PM
(leaving Marin earlier)
Lobby Day for Health Care
Health Care for All-Marin Rally to Sacto
Info on Chartering a Bus: To definitely confirm the bus, we need firm commitments from more than 30 people by Jan. 1. It will cost $20 per person (but no one will be turned away for lack of funds). To reserve a spot, email Joanie Levinsohn at joanielev [at] aol.com or call her at 461-2752.
Sen. Mark Leno, author of SB 810 (the successor to Sen. Sheila Kuehl’s single-payer health reform bill, SB 840) has made the decision to turn SB 810 into a two-year bill and shepherd it through both houses of the CA Legislature in 2010. It means the bill will be on a very tight timeline and the bill will have to pass the State Senate in January. Show support for
single-payer health care in California by coming to Sacramento!
