Return from Gaza and Lebanon, a Night of Short Films and personal accounts from devastated areas in the Gaza Strip and Southern Lebanon.

Raw video: traveling across Gaza and talking with Palestinians one year after the intense destruction of “Operation Cast Lead.”

Dawn, After the Bombs: a story of Lebanese people under bombardment during the 2006 "July War." Filmed by Activists from the Bay Area, Dawn, After the Bombs offers an up close and personal look into the experience of people whose homes, families and lives were uprooted amidst the chaos and destruction of war. (2006 short film, 18 minutes)

Film Makers and Activists will be on hand to discuss their travel experiences and the videos. $6 suggested donation, no one turned away due to lack of funds.

“As YouTube and digital-video technology collapse the distance between film production and distribution, it's no surprise that industrious political Documentarians are working to condense the processes hampering up-to-date reportage. A case in point is Mental-Rev Productions, a San Francisco-based video cooperative producing eyewitness accounts of oppression and resistance.” – Max Goldberg
