If you are interested in running for public office as a candidate of the Peace and Freedom Party, or know someone who might have an interest in doing so; there will be a Peace and Freedom Party Candidate Training in the San Francisco Bay Area next Sunday, January 3rd.

Reservations are not required, but it will help with planning if you let us know if you plan to attend. The first day for taking out "signatures-in-lieu-of filing fee" petitions to run for office in the June 8th elections will be Monday, January 4th. P&F candidates should attend, as well as campaign managers and fundraisers for our candidates. We will all benefit by the shared information. This will include those who want to run for County Central Committee. The earlier you take out the petitions, the more time you have for gathering signatures.

This will be essentially the same training for both sessions, so there is no need to attend both. Just come to whichever is convenient for you.

Material covered will include schedules and filing requirements, signature gathering strategies, and ideas for campaigning, and campaign literature.
