Marin Clean Energy,
Green Power Alternatives for Marin
Learn about Marin Clean Energy and how it could affect you as a Marin resident! We encourage questions. Learn about the proposed Marin Clean Energy program and how other nearby municipal utilities are administered. Marin Clean Energy will expand green power in Marin and in February of 2010, the Marin Energy Authority Board of Directors is scheduled to vote on the execution of a final contract with an Energy Service Provider (ESP) to launch the program.
If Marin Clean Energy is implemented and you live in a city or town that is a member of the Marin Energy Authority, you will have the option to choose between power provided by Marin Clean Energy or Pacific Gas & Electric. If you are not in an MEA member jurisdiction, you will not have the option to choose Marin Clean Energy.
Panelists: Dawn Wiesz, Marin Energy Authority; William Monsen*, MRW & Associates (invited); Mondica Padilla, City of Palo Alto; Mike DeAngelis*, Southern Municipal Utility District (invited); Tim Swanson*, Next Era Energy Resources (invited)
.
RSVP: Jamie Tuckey, jtuckey [at] co.marin.ca.us or 415-507-2813
