He needs to call for immediate withdrawal from Iraq and Afghanistan.
Santa Cruz activists are just the ones who can help him do so!
Perhaps if folks occupy his office, he'll get a closer understanding of the folly of occupation abroad.
Hope you're listening to the Congressman who was talking a little while ago, he illustrates what we have to look forward to once the Afghanistan war takes off.
He was talking about how Operation Amber soldiers that are being court martialed for beating someone up during a capture(?). just guessing but the soldiers must have really hurt their prisoner...and yes, it does matter how you treat captured prisoners in your care, otherwise you just promote government-sanctioned anarchy. Won't have it. Got it?]
...strains of war talk to come...vomitous...Target the mercenary business groups, out them, indict them: Brown and Root, Blackwater, etc. They are calling the shots. Greed rules.
House Judiciary Committee Hearings going on right now (listen live at www.kpfa.org...House Foreign Affairs Committee Hearing on President Obama's war plans. Bay Area representatives Lynn Woolsey and Barbara Lee are expected to lay out the case against an escalation. Hosted by Mitch Jeserich)
It's time for the PEACE movement to make a move. Do what you can, you know you care...it's all additive.
