Call KPFA news 510-848-6767 Ex2 Tell them their primary responsibility is to report local news of concern to the needs and interests of the workingclass, which public school education is by definition. Tell them we expect live coverage ALL DAY LONG of the events at Wheeler Hall and the rest of the UC Berkeley campus today concerning the crisis in education, interviewing both the people sitting in at Wheeler and the labor union members of UPTE who still have no contract. UPTE may be reached at

WE ARE ALL WATCHING WHO DOES THE JOB BEST IN REPORTING THE CRISIS IN OUR TAXPAYER PROVIDED SCHOOL SYSTEM. So far, Indybay and the Daily Cal seem to be the most likely to be on the job. WHERE IS KPFA? Tell them either they increase their coverage of the crisis at UC Berkeley, 1 block from the station, or they are gone. THIS REFUSAL TO REPORT IMPORTANT LOCAL STRUGGLES WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.
