Sit in in Barbara Boxer's office to protest denial of health care to myself and to millions of other Americans.

This is a press release to announce that I am conducting a sit-in beginning at 10 AM on Wednesday, November 18th in the 1700 Montgomery St. Ste 240, SF office of Sen. Barbara Boxer to protest the denial of health insurance to myself and to millions of other Americans.

I am demanding at this point an immediate extension of my Cobra filing deadline (expired 10/30/09) as I was not offered the 65% discount or any direct facility to take advantage of it and could not afford the $700/mo premium required, then, upon applying for individual coverage by the same company that covered me under my employer, Anthem Blue Cross of California, for reasons of ongoing health problems concerning my eyes which remain undiagnosed (and related to stress from my last employment which resulted in an out-of-court settlement) and require additional treatment and diagnostic exams.

The denial and/or unavailability of health care for millions of Americans cannot wait for a political solution. This is endemic across the nation and affects millions. This national emergency requires an executive order from the President to provide for national health coverage for ALL Americans beyond the political process which has been bought and paid for by the corporate elite, and the only possible solution is civil disobedience.

Health care is a human right. This is no "tea party." This is our lives!
