National Day of Action for Climate Justice

Date:
Monday, November 30, 2009
Time:
11:30 AM - 2:00 PM
Event Type:
Protest
Organizer/Author:
Cathy Kunkel
Location Details:
Justin Herman Plaza

On November 30th, the 10th anniversary of the global justice movement’s successful non-violent shut-down of the WTO in Seattle, we will expose some of San Francisco’s worst climate criminals, demanding that they stop financing climate change and standing in the way of climate solutions. We will also demand that these corporations stop lobbying against climate policy and blocking a strong international agreement at Copenhagen. For more details on our targets, see http://www.actforclimatejustice.org/tools-resources/dirty-money-and-dirtier-fuels-6-corporate-climate-criminals/

For the complete, up-to-date schedule of trainings & meetings leading up to November 30th, check the website: http://actforclimatejustice.org/west!
