"1,000 Mothers to Prevent Violence" will sponsor an "Evening of Healing", a free public event to commemorate the lives of loved ones lost to violence; featuring an "Angelight Vigil", keynote speakers: Honorable Elihu Harris & Dr. Sheila Wells-Harris, music by gospel singer Lorrain Taylor, a mother who lost both twins sons to gun violence & Deborah Thompson, a mother who lost her teenage daughter to violence; more entertainment, raffles & a wonderful holiday party. All welcome to attend!

"1000 Mothers to Prevent Violence" (1k MPV) mission is to alleviate the detrimental impact of violence through direct, practical and compassionate outreach services to victim-survivor families in the San Francisco Bay Area.
