The brand new Berkeley Sustainability Institute at 2130 Center Street, downtown Berkeley.

Gavin Raders, co-founder of Planting Justice and the Backyard Food Project, will be teaching an urban permaculture course every Wednesday evening. The course costs $9, and you will leave with practical, tangible skills to maximize food production and sustainability in urban settings. You will also learn how food (food justice, food sovereignty, self-sufficiency) can be a tool for social justice, community empowerment, and liberation.
