EcoTuesday, a unique, structured monthly networking event for sustainable business leaders held concurrently in seven cities across the country, will feature Gil Friend, Founder of Natural Logic, as the speaker at November's event in San Francisco.
Now that green business is "in", what's next -- for companies, strategy and policy? What are the looming challenges businesses need to understand -- and master? And how will we overcome the three key barriers to building a sustainable economy? Gil will share his thoughts on these topics, and more.
Natural Logic delivers strategic sustainability consulting to companies and communities, with integrated, results-focused solutions that build profit and competitive advantage while reducing your organization's environmental footprint, waste and risk.
Friend is a founding board member of the Sustainable Business Alliance, Sustainable Berkeley, and the California Sustainable Business Council and serves on the executive board of OpenEco.org and the advisory boards of CleanFish, WattBot, Green World Campaign, and (past) San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom's Clean Tech Advisory Council.
EcoTuesday is committed to changing the way people do business. The monthly event provides a structured environment where sustainable business leaders network with one another and gain insight from industry thought-leaders and trendsetters. Everyone in the room quickly learns about everyone else during the "introduction circle". EcoTuesday.com connects participants between events, serves as a hub for conversations and showcases local businesses.
The vision of EcoTuesday is for business people to share ideas and collaborate so that companies develop products and services that have a positive impact on the marketplace and planet.
