What is the solution to the environmental crisis?

As long as we live in a society organized around the profit motive, where the logic of the capitalist system breeds environmental destruction and the government won’t pass or enforce laws to reign in big polluters, our planet will continue to be destroyed. To profit-seeking corporations, it is rational to pollute in order to cut costs and make more profits.

The only true and lasting solution to saving the environment is organizing a society where the profit motive has been removed and production and distribution is based on centralized, ecologically sustainable planning. That system is socialism.

Commemorating the Russian Revolution

Nov. 7 marks the 92nd anniversary of the Russian revolution, a landmark victory for the international working class. It was the first time ever that the organized working class was able to take state power and hold it. Hear why the lessons learned in that revolution are still important today.

Mientras que vivimos en una sociedad organizada alrededor del motivo para ganancias, donde la lógica del sistema capitalista procrea destrucción del medio ambiente y el gobierno no pasará o ni exigirá leyes para reinar a los grandes contaminadores, nuestro planeta continuará siendo destruido. Para corporaciones golosas, es una racional de contaminar para recortar costos y hacer más ganancias.

La única verdadera y solución duradera para salvar el medio ambiente es organizar la sociedad donde el motivo para ganancias ha sido quitado y la producción y distribución está basado sobre un plan centralizado, ecológico, y sostenible. Este sistema es el socialismo

Commemorando la revolución rusa

El 7 de noviembre marca el 92º aniversario del la Revolución Rusa, una victoria para la clase trabajadora internacional. Fue la primera vez en la historia que los trajabadores y campesinos fueron capaces de obtener poder estatal y construir el socialismo. Escuche por qué todavía son importantes las lecciones de la revolución en Rusia hoy.
