The Marin Transit Board will review a proposal for service reductions and set a public hearing when it meets at 10 a.m. Monday at the Board of Supervisors' Chambers in Room 330 of the Marin Civic Center.
Due to declining revenue, service reductions are proposed for Routes 17, 19, 22, 23, 36, 45, 49, 51 and 52.

In addition to the Monday hearing, there will be public hearings from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Novato Police Station meeting room, 909 Machin Ave.; 10:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, Whistlestop, 930 Tamalpais Drive in San Rafael; 6:30 to 8 p.m. Oct. 28, San Anselmo Town Hall, 525 San Anselmo Ave.; 6:30 to 8 p.m. Oct. 29, Mill Valley council chambers, 26 Corte Madera Ave.
