Wright was the highest ranking American diplomat who resigned during the run-up to war in Iraq. Since 2003, she has been traveling the world as a witness for peace. She returned last week from Afghanistan as part of a CODEPINK delegation and has been to Gaza four times since Israel's invasion last year.
