The Freedom Socialist Party Presents: Obama’s Immigration Policies: All Tricks, No Treats

Since Obama’s election, deportations have risen, ICE raids have continued and the wall along the U.S.-Mexico border has expanded. Labor activist Moisés Montoya will report on the Obama administration’s positions on immigration reform, examine the challenges facing immigrant rights activists, and discuss strategies for winning civil liberties for all. Ballot measures and candidates in the November 3 election will also be discussed. Everyone is welcome.

An autumn buffet dinner with vegetarian options will be available at 6:15pm for an $8.00 donation. The meeting, sponsored by the Freedom Socialist Party, is free and begins at 7pm.
