San Francisco Tells Obama: Single Payer Now!

Over 1,000 people lined up in front of the St Francis Hotel to tell our visiting President Obama that we want healthcare not warfare and Single Payer Universal Healthcare for all. We want insurance companies out of healthcare. And, judging from his following Saturday radio address, he heard us. Obama spoke directly about insurance corporations having had a free ride for too long, and taking away their anti-trust exemptions! GreenPeace also let him know that we expect real solutions to the environmental crisis.
