Location Details:
Meeting at Veteran's Park (Main & Park) in Livingston, Ca (Merced County) at 06:00PM and then marching down to City Council Chambers (1416 C St). Join us for fair and affordable water and garbage rates!

In the summer of 2009, the Livingston City Council voted 3-2 to raise water, sewage, and garbage rates over 50%. This was after the City surprisingly fired a lawyer and hired a new one in closed session, over a legal opinion.

The median household income in Livingston is $32,500 and the increases are too much for many residents especially in this economic climate. The increases were not based on sound research practices and are unjust and not affordable.

This grassroots event will mobilize and unite Livingston residents of all backgrounds in hopes in getting our voices heard!
