Walking tour benefit for KPFA

Take a walk through some of the social movements which have originated in or migrated to San Francisco over the years . . . and benefit KPFA, people-powered radio. The Henry George Historical Society is leading this special benefit edition of its walking tour of historic downtown San Francisco. From Christian do-gooders to Marxists, from Black Panthers to Werner Erhard, from Cecil Williams to Henry George, folks and their social change ideas have welled up in San Francisco. This tour delivers an introduction to some of that highly-charged social spirit.

$15 per person. All proceeds go to KPFA.

Meets at the Cable Car/MUNI ticket booth at Market and Powell Streets in downtown San Francisco.
